Probably more than that. You could probably make a decent bit parting it out if the owner would let it go on the super cheap.

Very true. I haven't seen one in a while, but when I do I'm definitely approaching the owner to see how much they want for it. Surely they'd be happy for me to take it off their hands for a couple of hundred if it's just sitting there cluttering up their garden.

I dont know why, but even with mine this always reminded me of some weird evil octopus sitting on top of the engine trying to prevent you from touching anything

The PO felt obligated to add a decal telling everybody exactly what it is.
Ironically it's the coupe, which, if polished up, needs no embellishment. At least in the looks/presence category. Mechanically and especially electrically, it deserves to be gutted and swapped and reborn as some Masteratistein Monster
It's number 5 in my Worst Cars of the 1980's FP article. The hate is strong because it was such a disappointing car: high expectations and a massive letdown.

I will never look at this car the same, Haha.
If you have one of these, my jealousy meter is off the charts.

Had, those cars are only ever a moment in time. Drop em before you get stuck with the last idiots deferred maintenance...

Nice, Maintenance makes me cringe at the thought.

It is upsetting Maserati had to build such a car, at the same time no Maserati should be treated this way.
